Research Interests
My research focuses on understanding the various physiological mechanisms that maintain oxygen delivery to the tissues during cardiovascular stress. As a doctoral student, I focused on the effect of wavelike blood flow patterns in maintaining oxygenation of the brain during blood loss. My research goals are to continue to explore the physiological mechanisms responsible for maintaining adequate oxygen delivery to the body in various clinical populations.
