Research Interests
My research interests extend from exercise neurophysiology to neuromodulation interventions aimed at improving voluntary motor output. I am particularly interested in understanding how spinal cord stimulation interacts with the nervous system to enhance function. My current research bridges clinical neuromodulation with exercise physiology by exploring cardiovascular adjustments during exercise in individuals with chronic pain. Specifically, I investigate how spinal cord stimulation modulates exercise responses to uncover the broader physiological impacts of neuromodulation beyond pain relief.
