Residency Training in Primary Care
Dr. Casey Gradick was also awarded a new grant (1 D58HP37586) from the Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA) to conduct residency training in primary care. This project will also run from July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2025.
Antibiotic Use at Hospital Discharge
Dr. Valerie Vaughn was awarded a new grant (7K08HS026530-02) from the Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ) to: 1) quantify antibiotic overuse at hospital discharge, 2) examine barriers to and facilitators of appropriate antibiotic treatment at hospital discharge, and 3) to develop a provider-facing behavioral intervention to improve appropriate use of antibiotics at hospital discharge. This project runs from October 1, 2020 through March 31, 2025.
