Welcome Dr. Schwabkey
We are delighted to announce that Dr. Zaker Schwabkey is joining the Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies and Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI), as Assistant Professor of Medicine. Dr. Schwabkey trained in Internal Medicine at Albany Medical College in New York and completed a Hematology and Oncology fellowship at Moffitt Cancer Center, University of South Florida. He previously conducted research in the Department of Genomic Medicine at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, TX.
Dr. Schwabkey will join as a clinical investigator in the Myeloid section of our Division. His research interests are myelodysplastic syndromes and acute leukemias.
