Patient Care

We believe no one should face cancer alone. Our dedicated, nationally recognized doctors, nurses, and care teams are committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care. We focus on caring for the whole person - not just treating cancer.

Our medical, surgical, and radiation oncologists work closely together to develop and coordinate personalized treatment plans for each patient. Because cancer affects more than the body, our team-based approach also include social workers, support groups, and wellness and integrative health services such as acupuncture, massage, creative arts, and other supportive therapies to help patients and families through their care journey.

Mission Statement

The Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies at the University of Utah is dedicated to advancing patient care, research, and education to improve outcomes for individuals with blood disorders and blood cancers through compassionate, innovative, and collaborative care.
