Dr. Miguel Chavez Cavazos is a third year Cardiovascular Disease fellow who received his medical degree from the Tecnológico de Monterrey Escuela de Medicina in 2017. He completed his internal medicine residency at the Houston Methodist Hospital in 2021. He has completed his first and second years of his Cardiovascular Disease fellowship here at the University of Utah Hospital.
Dr. Lina Brinker is an Advanced Heart Failure fellow who received her medical degree from the University of New Mexico in 2015. She completed one year of anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Massachusetts General Hospital in 2016 and then completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Michigan in 2019. She served in a hospital appointment there for a year before coming to Utah. She completed her Cardiovascular Disease and research fellowship under the T32 grant from the University of Utah.
