Welcome to the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension

The Division provides education, patient care and research in all aspects of the  pathogenesis and treatment of renal disease and hypertension.

The Division of Nephrology and Hypertension employs 19 full-time faculty. Consultation services are maintained at the University of Utah Health and the Veterans Administration Medical Center, which provide exposure to:

  • General nephrology
  • Hypertension
  • Renal transplantation, including combined pancreas and renal transplants
  • Dialysis (all modes):
    • Dialysis units are located at University of Utah Health, Veterans Administration Medical Center, and several satellite locations throughout the Mountain West.
