Welcome to the Division of Nephrology and Hypertension
The Division provides education, patient care and research in all aspects of the pathogenesis and treatment of renal disease and hypertension.
The Division employs 30 full time faculty, 10 adjunct faculty, and 10 APCs. Consultation services are maintained at the University of Utah Health and the Veterans Administration Medical Center, which provide exposure to:
- General nephrology
- Hypertension
- Renal transplantation, including combined pancreas and renal transplants
- Dialysis (all modes):
- Dialysis units are located at University of Utah Hospital, Veterans Administration Medical Center, and throughout the Mountain West.
