Nephrology Fellowship Program

Welcome to the Nephrology Fellowship Program

The University of Utah Nephrology Fellowship Program is dedicated to providing the highest quality clinical and research training in the subspecialty of Nephrology. We are fully accredited by the American College of Graduate Medical Education and offer a two year clinical fellowship program and a three year research fellowship program.

We provide comprehensive training in all areas of Nephrology and serve a large population all over the Mountain West including Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana and parts of Nevada. Our faculty are leaders in education and research and are committed to training the next generation of clinicians and physician-scientists. We have a strong and well-funded research program encompassing clinical and basic science research in chronic kidney disease, dialysis, transplantation and renal physiology.

We are also proud to have Dr. Willem Kolff, known as the Father of Dialysis, as part of our division’s distinguished history.

Thank you for your interest and we look forward to meeting you.
