Rashmee Shah, MD named as an elite member of Cardiology Today’s Next Gen Innovator

rashmee-shahCardiology Today has announced Rashmee U. Shah, MD (Cardiovascular) as a member of Cardiology Today’s Next Gen Innovators – a bright group of early career cardiologists who Cardiology Today has identified as innovators in cardiology.

The Next Gen Innovators were compiled based on nominations from the Cardiology Today Editorial Board. These leaders represent the next generation of cardiologists who are working to educate their colleagues, conduct research on new and novel strategies to advance cardiovascular care, and innovate the unique aspects of the cardiology specialty.

 “We would like to congratulate the members of the Next Gen Innovators and thank them for all of their individual accomplishments and contributions to the specialty. We look forward to working with this unique group of young, early career cardiologists to help bring a broader scope and perspective to readers. It’s another step in our ongoing commitment to the entire cardiology community,” said Joan-Marie Stiglich, ELS, Chief Content Officer of SLACK Incorporated, the publisher of Cardiology Today.

Cardiology Today’s Next Gen Innovators will be announced in the April 2017 issue of Cardiology Today, on Healio.com/Cardiology and displayed at the Cardiology Today exhibit booth 2410 at the ACC.17 meeting in Washington, DC, March 17-19.

Members of the Next Gen Innovators will be invited to contribute ideas and guide editorial content for the publication. They are also part of a network of sources contacted for story ideas and interviews for articles. The Next Gen Innovators will be published annually in Cardiology Today, and special events for members will be announced throughout the year.
