Michelle Litchman joins division of Endocrinology

In March 2016, Michelle Litchman, PhD, APRN, FNP-BC, joined the Division of Endocrinology as an Adjunct Assistant Professor and will be working three half-days at the Diabetes and Endocrinology Center.  Dr. Litchman’s primary appointment as Assistant Professor is in the College of Nursing where she has been a faculty member of the University since January 1, 2016.  Since receiving her Family Nurse Practitioner license in 2006, she has practiced in Internal Medicine & Family Practice and diabetes specialty care. She is currently teaching Advanced Health Assessment in the College of Nursing Doctor of Nursing Practice Program. Dr. Litchman’s research focuses on diabetes, aging, peer health and technology.

Dr. Litchman was recently named as a Fellow in for the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (FAANP). FAANP impacts national and global health by engaging recognized nurse practitioner leaders who make outstanding contributions to clinical practice, research, education, or policy to enhance the AANP mission.
