Dr. Ann Flynn Honored by the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation with Uniting to Care & Cure Award
Dr. Ann Flynn, MD, Associate Professor in the Division of Gastroenterology, Hepatology & Nutrition, was recently honored by the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation with one of its Uniting to Care & Cure Awards for her work to help find cures for inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) and improve the quality of life of adults and children affected by these diseases.
“Dr. Flynn has had a profound impact on the lives of countless IBD patients,” said Laura Wingate, Executive Vice President, Education, Support, & Advocacy for the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation. “We are pleased to recognize her contributions to advancing our mission and helping move us closer to our goal of a future free from Crohn’s and colitis.”
Uniting to Care & Cure Awards are presented to healthcare providers across the country who show dedication to the IBD community of patients and caregivers and contribute to the Foundation’s research, education, support, and advocacy initiatives.
