Welcoming General Internal Medicine's New Associate Director of Ambulatory Operations - Dr. Anne Cioletti

The warmest of welcomes to Dr. Anne Cioletti, MD, FACP, Associate Professor, as the new Associate Director of Ambulatory Operations for the Division of General Internal Medicine.

Anne Cioletti is a native Texan, growing up outside of Houston. She went to medical school at the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio and completed training in a primary care track at George Washington University. After completing a chief year, she stayed on faculty as an Associate Program Director for the residency program with responsibilities advising the primary care track and creating and refining quality improvement and patient safety work for the program, GME and UME.

In 2017, she was recruited to the University of Texas Dell Medical School where she was the Associate Program Director for ambulatory education and clinical training, developed and recruited for the new primary care track, and was the site director for one of the clinics. In this role, she became the Associate Director for Clinical Education for CommUnityCare, the federally qualified health center network, and helped coordinate clinical and educational processes for residency and fellowship clinics.

In this role as Associate Director of Ambulatory Operations, Dr. Cioletti will work on clinical operations and faculty development as well as work with the educational leadership on the development of a primary care track within the IM residency program. As a primary care physician, her clinical interests include chronic disease management, developing the physician-patient relationship, and medical education. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her family, including her husband and two daughters. They are often found trying new foods – either homemade or via a new restaurant, running around a playground or looking for their next place to travel.

Dr. Cioletti's practice location is Madsen Health Center. To schedule an appointment with her, please call 801-581-7790.
