We are pleased to welcome Dr. Esteban Pena to the faculty in the Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies. Dr. Pena has been appointed as a Clinical Instructor and his primary focus will be on the Bone Marrow Transplant service. Dr. Esteban Pena obtained his MD degree at the Universidad Catolica in Quito in 2001. He completed his residence training at Emory University and the Jewish Hospital in Cincinnati Ohio. He was board certified in 2011 in Internal Medicine and recently served as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of New Mexico and a Hospitalist at the University of New Mexico Hospital.
