It is with immense pleasure that the Division of Hematology & Hematologic Malignancies announce the appointment of Dr. Douglas Sborov, MD, MS as the Director of the University of Utah/Huntsman Cancer Institute Multiple Myeloma Program. This appointment is effective as of September 1, 2020 and will be ongoing.
Dr. Sborov joined our faculty in the Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies in August of 2016 and has thoroughly excelled in his role as a clinical investigator. Dr. Sborov was previously appointed in 2018 as the Co-Director of the University of Utah/Huntsman Cancer Institute Multiple Myeloma Program alongside Dr. Djordje Atanackovic. With a large clinical practice, a leadership role within the HCI Clinical Trials Office and a loyal patient base, Dr. Sborov is the unrivaled candidate to continue the excellent trajectory of our Multiple Myeloma Program.
