It is with immense pleasure that I announce the appointment of Dr. Doug Sborov as Director of the Hematology Biorepository. This appointment is effective as of May 1, 2021 and will be ongoing.
Dr. Sborov joined our faculty in the Division of Hematology and Hematologic Malignancies in August of 2016 and has thoroughly excelled in his role as a clinical investigator. Dr. Sborov also serves as the Director of the University of Utah/Huntsman Cancer Institute Multiple Myeloma Program. With a large clinical practice, a leadership role within the HCI Clinical Trials Office and a loyal patient base, Dr. Sborov has a proven track record that demonstrates a cross-functional ability to succeed.
