On November 1, we held our annual welcome reception to welcome new faculty to the department of Internal Medicine. In the past year we have hired more than 30 new faculty members, and we were pleased to gather together and recognize them.
On October 27, we held the first Wintrobe Research Retreat. With the campus transformation project, many more research faculty have moved their labs into the Wintrobe Building. This retreat allowed researchers to share their current projects and create opportunities for more collaboration.

To celebrate University of Utah's recent recognition by Vizient, Inc. as one of the Top 10 in Quality, we held two celebration events with all faculty and staff. We could not have received such a distinction without your dedication and support to our mission.
Our number of Advanced Practice Clinicians has risen dramatically over the last few years, so we wanted to recognize them for the immense contribution they make to our health system.
