We would like to welcome Dr. N. Lynn Henry as our Interim Division Chief of Oncology.

N. Lynn Henry, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor in the University of Utah's Division of Oncology in the Department of Medicine. She is Director of Breast Medical Oncology at the Huntsman Cancer Institute (HCI) and Interim Division Chief of Oncology in the Department of Medicine. Dr. Henry specializes in the care of patients with all stages of breast cancer.

Dr. Henry’s research focuses on personalizing treatment for breast cancer. She studies treatments for breast cancer as well as ways to manage symptoms and side effects that arise from the cancer or its treatment. In addition, she works with scientists at HCI and the University of Utah translate their lab findings into clinical trials. She is also active in SWOG (the Southwest Oncology Group), where she is Co-Chair of the Symptom Management and Quality of Life Committee, and in the American Society of Clinical Oncology, where she serves on the Cancer Survivorship Committee.

Dr. Henry has been at the University of Utah since October 2016. Before coming to HCI, Dr. Henry cared for patients and performed research in breast cancer and symptom management at the University of Michigan.
